Divergent by Veronica Roth has been one of the most fascinating books that I have read in a while. I find it similar to the hunger games in terms of violence.
[Not responsible for spoilers it's a f***ing book review what do you expect?]
Divergent is about a girl named Beatrice (Tris), 16 who was born under the faction Abnegation. As soon as you turn 16 you have to choose between factions: Dauntless, Amity, Erudite, Candor, and Abnegation. I could explain these factions to you and their goals directly, but that would take the fun out of reading the book wouldn't it? Tris chooses dauntless. The dauntless believe in bravery, in so saying put's Tris in many dangerous situations.
Tris starts to learn who she really is and goes trough a major rite of passage. Along the way she makes friends and enemies. Looses friends and enemies. She also kills a few of her friends and enemies.
Overall the book was amazing and I have found a new love for Veronica Roth's writing.
Thanks for reading.
