Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera Empty
PostSubject: Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera   Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera I_icon_minitimeSun Aug 19, 2012 8:38 pm

Monster Form

Name: Gaeon

Age: 732 Years old in human years, although he looks like he's 17 in human years, which is his mental age.

Gender: he is a boy.

Eye Color: Amber, like a cheetah's. This is the same for all his forms.

Hair: He has jet black, shaggy hair and gold tip and Highlights that reaches the bottom of his ears. This gold and black derives from the fact that his original form is a cheetah. Every form he takes, keeps the gold and black color he was born with.

Skin Color: Dark tan from being out in the sun. It is smooth, but weathered and thick.

Height: 5'9"

Parentage:
Mother: Kike (pronounced Key-kay) cheetah. Deceased.

Father: unknown, as the male cheetahs leave after mating. Deceased.

Species: Chimera

Physical Description: (Human form)He wears, in his human form, a pair of ripped, faded, clearly worn pair of tan hide pants. He wears no shirt and no shoes, which leaves his feet often torn up and very painful. His right foot is seriously screwed up. It sits loose and useless, laying a a 90 degree angle to the other. The leg is hideously scarred and clearly been burned then shredded. He wears a handcrafted wooden brace to help him walk, but the brace is clearly extremely painful to wear. It is unknown what happened to the leg because he has no recollection of the event, saying he only remembered red, heat then black. Gaeon is very muscular. Not like Arnold Schwarzenegger / body builder muscular, but he's evidently very strong, muscles rippling when he walks. His body is covered in thick scars from an eon of battles and fighting. The most prominent of the scars are the four parallel scars on the left side of his face, that stretch from his forehead, through the eye, to the base of the jaw. This is considered by some to be the mark of a banished prince: A scar one can only receive from one's mother dragging her claws across her son's face. This is not the case. However, it is the mark of banishment, of an eternal curse. His face is very easy to look at. He's very, very good looking, and considered to be the model of handsomeness. He is usually always smiling, flashing a crisp white grin. His most common forms are cheetah, human, gry falcon and dragon.

Personality: He is very easy going. He is a very happy person, and VERY flirtatious. He loves to love, and is happy to smile. His one goal is to make people happy. And, going against the Chimera code, tries to be as social as he can. As if he is trying to be someone he is not. He is often dating many different women, which seriously goes against the Chimera Code. However, this all seems to be an act as, when he is alone, his true colors show. Sorrow, loneliness. Having lived for several hundred years, he has seen millions of people die, and dozens of nations fall. At night he takes his true form: a two month old Cheetah cub. He climbs on top of of the highest point he can, tail between his legs, he cried out, little cheetah squeaks, for his lost mother. However, in this last century, he has faces so much abuse, hatred and intolerance others have shown towards him, that he abandoned his life completely in the Delta and fled, traveling for months, miles and miles on end, until he found Scorpulous. He lives, now, in Crystal Cavern, coming out only at night, in cheetah cub form to call to his mother.

Realm of Origin: Paledum, the Delta

Talents: Fighting, and he is very eloquent and good at being a leader.

Weapon*: Tekagi Shuko, which translates as "Tiger Claws". Its basically leather gloves (With no fingers) that have four retractable blades coming out of the knuckles, like claws. The gloves were specially designed to change shape as he does to fit the shape of his paws/hands/talons. The blades can only be activated when he is in his human form.

Flaws**: His right leg, as mentioned before, is totally useless. He is blind in his right eye, as well. While he was once a social creature, ever since he made his home in crystal cavern, he fears socialist for he knows of their impending deaths.

Powers: Shape shifting. He has the power to transform into a dragon, all types of felines (including big cats), all types of avians (he prefers to transform into raptors) and all types of equestrians (which includes zebras and giraffes). He is also able to transform into aquatic mammals, and some mythical creatures such as the Cadacus (a giant winged serpent), a Jackalope, and a Kitsune (a mythical nine-tailed fox)

Backstory***: Gaeon's life is a long tragic one. It is also perhaps the most unusual of any story. Unlike most Chimeras, when Gaeon was born, Kike's motherly instinct prevented her from abandoning him. Instead, she kept him, and treated he just like his brother and sister. He was two months old when he first discovered his shapeshifting ability. He turned into zebra. Kike, thinking Gaeon was pray, attacked him and forced him to flee. A he grew up, all alone, he had no value for life, and killed whatever pleased him, even if it wasn't to eat. When he was ten human years old, a wizard and his new born daughter, having taken the shape of cheetahs, came upon young Gaeon, lost and alone. Filled with mercy, the wizard accepted Gaeon into his family, saying that he would one day be king if the land. Seven years later, Gaeon made his terrible mistake. He was out hunting wildebeests with the wizards daughter, and when the beasts stampeded, pushed the child into the heard to save himself. The wizard cut Gaeon's face, and cursed him, saying that if he would not value life, he would be forced to live until he saw so much death, that he valued the lives of all creatures. Then the wizard, to avenge his daughter, cursed Gaeon, saying that he would live forever, or until the death of his own child. And until such a time, he would never be at peace. And the wizard cursed him that not only his first born, but his first three children were to die young, horrific deaths. And the wizard banished him, casting him away forever. Now, every creature in all the world knows Gaeon's name and story. Many speculate it to be nothing more than myth, but those who are smart know it to be true. Some call him the Saih(a king, the only one who can bring peace to the world) while others call him an Acheron (derived from the name of the Greek god of the underworld rive of pain, the Acheron is a cursed creature, a monster, a creature who is destined to bring nothing but death and destruction in its wake, even if unintentional). To this day his name is both loved and feared, a symbol of hope and hatred, which is why he is in hidding and often tells others his name is Demetrius.

How does your character feel about being a monster? Regrets or is the life satisfying?***: He is serious denial of being a monster and pretends that nothing is wrong, although, deep down inside, he hates himself. He often transforms into human form and passes off as a 100% human. He refuses to let himself believe that he is the monster that others tell him he is (He often passes off as peasant named Demetrius, and asked other what they think of the leagand of Gaeon, to which, most people are bias in either praise or hatred. And the people of the Delta most often see Gaeon as a demon.) He is very hurt by the hatred, and inside he is nothing more than a lost Cheetah cub, longing for its mother.

Roleplay Example***: Gaeon awoke… where was he? His head hurt, so bad… as if someone… hit it… with a rock… It took all of his concentration and willpower to stay in human form. It had been 500 years, and he wasn't about to blow his cover now. Not now, not ever. Although soon it became clear where he was: and arena. In a deep, dirt pit with a cage over the top. Some of the villagers, some of the humans thought he was a monster. And now they were going to prove it. A fight, to the death, with people, animals… it was torture. Especially for him who, now, could not kill. Fear flashed in his eyes which turned a pale blue. Monsters were released on him, real monsters. Basilisks, hydras, dragons. Monsters that he could turn into… but he couldn't show them… he couldn't show them what he could do… what he was… And yet… he could not die. He would not die. "Fine. You want a fight? I'll make a fight. Let's match the power of the Chimera, against and itty, bitty, snake,"

Gaeon awoke from the nightmare with a start. It was his worst fear, something he'd almost always had nightmares about. He had to accept the fact that he was a monster; and tomorrow he would leave the Delta forever.

Can you list what other colors his eyes turn in response to his emotions?

For your physical description, bear in mind that this site takes place in an era similar to our own medieval times.

Does he have any fears?

For his backstory, you say that he had brought about the downfall of nations throughout his lifetime. Can you be specific as to the circumstances surroundings these incidences? How many, what were their names, what were the long term/short term consequences of his actions?

How many people know that he is a Chimera? If more than thirty know what he is, by the laws of Chimeras, he must have been exiled at some point and stripped of his ability to transform.

As I created the Code of the Chimeras, I was asked to look over the form really quick.
I found four problems:

1. The biggest problem I noticed was that there was not 10 complete sentences on the question "How does your character feel about being a monster?"

2. I have a bit of a problem with he flirtatious part, as Chimera's are not allowed to mate with non-Chimeras, but as long as he's not actually...you know....mating....then I think it's OK.

3. I'd like to know how he came across his interesting weapon.

4....Actually, I don't have a fourth problem, however, I would like to commend you on the form. Overall it was very nice, especially for your first form.

Thanks,

1. Sorry about that, I didn't realize it had to be that long! My bad. Edited

2. No no! Nothing like that. I just mean that he's always hitting on girls, and always getting shot down.

3. They were a gift from a Chimera named Kamile, who was given them by a witch many years ago. He originally wanted Kamile to be his mate, but then decided against it, remembering the curse. That decision was a major factor in his leaving the Delta.

4. Aw thank you! That means a lot!

Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera Empty
PostSubject: The Old Witch Minerva   Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera I_icon_minitimeWed Aug 22, 2012 2:45 pm

Name: Minerva Giovanna

Age: 76

Gender: female

Eye Color: Minerva's eyes are electrifyingly purple. Almost unnatural looking, Minerva's eyes are a clear sign of her magic powers. Beautiful to look at, her eyes are mesmerizing, absolutely stunning. Many of those who gaze into her eyes cannot take their eyes away and become trapped. This is no magic spell, but sheer beauty. They say that the eyes are the window of the soul. Gazing into Minerva's eyes, one can see that the human who owns them has many years behind her, and has suffered many things. However, despite that, her eyes are bright and still full of life, like a child ready to play.

Hair: Minerva's hair was once the fairest of all the land. Reaching down to her waist, her hair is always well-kept. Free of knots, tangles, grease, twigs, dirt, sticks, any and all things that would make it undesirable. Her hair is very shiny, and very light. It is soft, silky and smooth, as if her hair were spun my the most rare and precious of magical silk-worms. Back in the day Minerva's hair was considered the most beautiful in all the land. It was once a beautiful golden brown, as if the sun itself had kissed her hair. Even now in her old age, it is still considered the most beautiful in the land. And while it lacks in the color it once had, Minerva's beautiful silver hair is still beautiful, as if it were made of spun silver, kissed by the moon.

Skin Color: Minerva's skin is very white, very fair, and baby soft. Her skin is free of blemishes expect for two beauty marks on the outmost corner of her left eye, and more notably, the small scar on her right cheekbone, under her ear and sitting on the jawline. Although her skin has stretched and weathered with age, it has lost none of its beauty. And while wrinkly and flexible, her fair skin lacks age spots and other blemishes that come with the passing years. Most remarkably, her skin is free of scars, despite the many fights she has gotten herself into over the many years.

Height: 6'1" Yes, Minerva is very tall. And although she has lost some of her height over the years, she is still very tall, and stands straight without slouching.

Physical Description: Minerva is a very beautiful and very high class looking lady. She has electrifyingly purple eyes that capture and trap all those who gaze into them with their beauty. Her hair is long and fine. Extremely well kept, it once was a sun kissed golden brown, but has turned a fine, moon kissed silver with the passing years. Her hair is almost never seen simply down and straight. No, Minerva always makes sure to have her hair done up in an elaborate, and very elegant braid. Minerva's skin and hair is the stuff of legend to rich girls in wealthy estates. She has never, ever told anyone (except her late husband) how she has kept her skin and hair so fine. There are many rumors and wive's tales about how she keeps her skin and hair so pristine, but all those wive's tales never produce anything as glorious as her own. What is so desirable and mysterious about Minerva's skin is its perfect baby soft texture, and totally free of blemishes. And while totally free of freckles and scars, Minerva does have two signature beauty marks on the outermost corner of her left eye, and far more notably, she does possess one scar. The scar is considered her signature. The scar is about the size of a half dollar. It sits on her right cheekbone, below and a little bit to the left of the ear, and reaches from her earlobe down to the jawline. What is most remarkable about this scar is its shape: the scar takes the shape of an absolutely perfect, totally flawless, seven-pointed star. Minerva often manipulates and does her hair up in a way to prominently show the scar, as it is her signature. That being said, she has adapted the seven-pointed star into her style and signature, and everything she wears must have the flawless seven-pointed star about it somewhere. Minerva has a special pendant, which she always wears. The pendant is the shape of her signature seven-pointed star, and is about the size of a silver dollar. Hanging of a very fine silver chain, the pendant is made of silver encrusted with rubies, and can always be seen resting over her collarbone. Given to her by her late husband, Carlo, on their over fifty years ago, and she has never taken it off in over fifty years, and has no intentions of ever taking off, and plans to be buried in it. The rubies on the pendant light up with magic every time she uses her powers. Silver and rubies are very dear to her heart because of Carlo. Her wedding ring is silver with a single, perfect ruby, and even though Carlo has passed away, she still wears the wedding ring loyally. The ruby on the ring also lights up in the presence of magic. Minerva is never seen wearing any jewelry except for the pendant and her wedding ring, as she believes to wear anything else would be disrespectful. Minerva's favorite colors are purple, red and silver. All of her dresses and gowns are purple, red and silver of varying degrees, and always have her signature seven-pointed star somewhere. She has many pairs of high-heeled shoes, one pair to match each of her dresses. Minerva is a very, very beautiful and very classy lady.

Personality: While Minerva may look like a very polite, poised, graceful, well-mannered woman, looks can be very deceiving. Minerva is almost the exact opposite of what she looks to be. Although she an be very polite and well-mannered when she needs to be (like in front of people she wants to make an impression on, such as royalty), given the choice she will choose to be slapdash and lackadaisical. Yes, Minerva is far more of a mild animal than the statuesque, delicate woman many people believe her to be. So it comes as somewhat of a shock when people really get to know her. She prefers to eat with her hands rather than utensils, and very much prefers to go barefoot than wear shoes. Minerva is still an adventurous soul, never ever passing up the opportunity to go on an adventure to discover treasure, or explore new lands. As an example of such, after finding a great treasure in the unexplored wildernesses of Lapidem, Minerva was offered retirement from her adventures, and offered a grand house in the richest kingdom of Lapidem, with everything her heart desired. However, Minerva turned it down, proclaiming that she was a wild spirit and would die if she were forced to a life such as that. Minerva is a playful old gall, determined to lead all the adventures because she is the best adventurer out there and she knows it. She is very comical, although she does not intend to be. And she has no problem speaking her mind, even if it means offending others. However, no one can really hate her. She is simply to quirky and lovable to hate. Minerva does not care, at all what so ever, what other people think of her. As an example, she has an uncanny habit of ripping off the bottoms of her dresses (from the knees down) when she gets too hot, or frustrated of having to walk around with all that extra fabric. Or, kicking her shoes off anywhere she wants to and abandoning them when she gets tired of walking in them. Or taking them off and using them as weapons if she feels threatened.

Type of Creature: Human Witch

Parentage:
Mother: Agnese Eleanor (deceased) Human witch

Father: Christopher Eleanor (deceased) Human wizard

Realm of Origin: Due to whatever reason, be it old age or simply the fact that she is a traveler and hasn't stayed in one place for more than a month, Minerva cannot remember where it was that she grew up. She remembers much of her childhood, yes, she simply cannot remember where it was that those memories took place. Although she believes it was a small human town on the Shores of Lapidem (which is why she often spends so much time there).

Animal Companion(Optional): An old winged Tabby Tiger named Phantasia. The tiger was found when Minerva was 12 years old. It is unknown how the tiger obtained wings and with it, the gift of flight, and the ability to live such a long life. Minerva believes that as a baby cub, she was experimented on by some young magical creature just figuring out how to practice magic and something went wrong (or right). Whatever the case, Phantasia (Often simply called Phant by Minerva) is an unusual animal and a life long companion to the old witch.

Talents: Getting what she wants. She's the most persistent stubborn old bull anyone could have ever met. She's also a very gifted singer and dancer, often found singing Karaoke in the tavern.

Weapon*: Minerva's high heels are definitely a force to be reckoned with. When she takes those bad boys off, oh boy, you're in trouble. She also has a silver and ruby encrusted backsword, to which, she is very skilled with. The sword was a wedding gift from Carlo's parents.

Flaws**: Minerva is old, and with age, suffers all of the unfortunate consequences that come with it. Forgetfulness is one thing all on its own. She often asks people there names and introduces herself several times, forgets where she's put things, forgets what she's doing or where's she's going or why she's going there. Minerva is also not as fast as she used to be. Minerva also has terrible, terrible eyesight, mistaking raccoons for cats, snakes lizards and frogs for baby dragons, birds for dragons, dwarfs for children, and other such things. She is also very fragile, often suffering from hip and back pain which renders her unable to move for short periods of time. She must be very careful when she walks so as she doesn't trip because, as she says: "One broken bone at my age and you're never comin' back,". She's also somewhat hard of hearing, and has the frequent problem of coughing up hairballs.

Powers(Optional): Minerva is a master of transformation. Ever since her cat transformation, she has been especially good at transforming into felines of all shapes and sizes. Dragons and birds are also within her reach of transformation. She has a unique ability to speak with animals. Animals, she has discovered, are much more interesting to talk to than people. She is able to use many sorts of spells from a spell book she has obtained a while back, however the spells often backfire, as she many times cannot remember them correctly. Minerva also has a unique ability to control energy. She can take the energy from the sun, from the life forces of plants, from fire, running water, and lightning. She can take that energy and form it into a very tangible orb. The size of that orb depends on the amount of energy she has access to but never usually exceed 10 inches in diameter. Depending on the amount of energy she has access to will determine how many of these orbs she can create and launch at a time. But she can usually only create around 7 in one sitting before passing out. The orbs can be launched at people or things and usually have explosive repercussions, after all it is a huge burst of energy being released.

Backstory***: Minerva was born to Eleanor and Christopher in a small human town she thinks is in Lapidem. Two weeks after she was born, the Eleanor house caught fire and burned down, with Minerva still trapped inside. Except for a burn shaped like a seven-pointed star, she was unscathed. Ever since then, it because clear that she would grow up to be an amazing witch. Her parents told her that one day she would be an incredible witch, however it wasn't until she was six years old when she was first able to use her powers. After being very sick for almost two weeks, she, one night had a very very interesting dream in which she was a mighty tiger and stood on the highest point in all the and and roared. (She has never forgotten that dream despite her age.) When she awoke, somehow Minerva had turned herself into a little pussy cat. When she was twelve years old, she was playing in a near by grain field and discovered Phantasia, just a baby cub, and took her home. Over the next twenty years or so, she spent all her time practicing and perfecting her magic. When she was twenty one, she met a wizard who worked as a silver smith, named Carlo Giovanna. She often found excuses just to talk to him. It wasn't until almost two years later that Carlo worked up enough courage to ask her out on a date. When she was twenty-five years old, Carlo and Minerva were married. Carlo's good friend, the half dwarf Alrog, sang at the wedding. The two lead a very happy life. Over the years, Minerva gave birth to nine children, although two were still born. Carlo and Minerva spent many years exploring and made many great and marvelous discoveries. Minerva and Carlo were married for 50 years. However, only a month after their 50th anniversary, Carlo died. Minerva was upset but pushed on through life. Although she stopped adventuring for about six months, it was her one of her grandchildren that put her passion back into exploring. One of her most noteable adventures was with Carlo about a year after they were married. The two were exploring the Sol Mountains when they came across a very threatening caduceus. The winged serpent had one sle intent: to eat the two explorers. Having forgotten her sword at home, Minerva managed to ward off the great snake with a very threatening looking high heel.

Roleplay Example***: After several weeks of travel, finally Minerva and Phantasia had reached the realm of Sylvia. The purpose of the long journey? The exploration of the abandon tunnels! "Phantasia! Look! We're finally here!" Minerva croaked in excitement. Phantasia licked her lips and looked skeptically at her old friend. … Are you sure? Because, to be honest, all I see is a bunch of trees… Minerva frowned at the comment. "Phantasia! Can you not see it? Look! It's Sylvia! It's unmistakable!" She cried in delight. Phantasia looked around. I honestly have no idea what you see, because as far as I can tell, all there are is a bunch of trees. MInerva looked exasperatedly to the winged tiger. "You… have absolutely no sense of imagination do you,"

Edited. And yes. There was the time she managed to ward off the Cadacus on mount sol with nothing but her left high heel. There was the time where she was stuck on Avalanch Peak, and and avalanche was starting so she jumped off of a ledge and landed on top of a giant bird, mid flight and road it safely to the ground. There was also the time, while in a tavern in Scopulous where she beat the great champion dwarf Galod in a burping contest.

Btw... LOVE all your detail and precision, it's REALLY good and shows a lot of talent! Very Happy

PostSubject: Re: Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera   Gaeon, The forever Cursed Chimera I_icon_minitimeWed Aug 22, 2012 5:17 pm

Yeah sure! And thanks, that means slot Smile

After many, many days of travel, Carlo and Minerva had finally reached the realm of Lapidem. The whole purpose of there quest was to explore the legendary Mt. Sol. While visiting the Human Village of Sylvia, the couple had stumbled upon a legend of Mt. Sol. As legend says, at the top of Mt. Sol, there is a hidden gateway to the Ruined Kingdom of Caprica.

Now, the Kingdom of Caprica was said to be the home of the Dragons, thousands of years ago. It was said that Caprica was the point at which all the life energy of the world was said to gather. It is said that the Moon, the sun and all of the stars can be seen all throughout the day and the night. It is said that Caprica is the focalpoint of the life energy of the earth. The dragons were forced to abandon the city, but it is still considered a sacred place, and those who go there will be blessed.

However, the Kingdom of Caprica was just a legend. Or was it? And that was the purpose of the exploration. Gathering supplies, the young couple Minerva and Carlo gathered their witts about them and began the treacherous journey to the top of Mt. Sol. For nearly two weeks they climbed the treacherous, fridged Mt. Sol. Finally they reached what appeared to be the top. When suddenly they were attacked by a Cadacus. The enormous wing serpent seemed to only have one intent: destroy them. Minerva was unable to use her sword as it was far too cold to touch. So she took off her left shoe and held it out menicingly towards the giant serpent. She backed up the serpent against the legde, then she herself backed up, saying that she had no desire to harm the serpent. Then she apologized for tresspassing as it was his domain, and said she was only searching for the Kingdom of Caprica. The Cadacus realized that their intentions were pure and stated that he was the gate keeper of Caprica. He allowed them to climb on his back and flew high into the clouds where the city remained hidden. Upon reaching the city, they discovered it was not abandoned. In fact the same dragon inhabitants were still living there as were thousands of years ago. The dragons blessed the two, and gave them much wisdom. However, if one were to ask Minerva about the city of Caprica, she would claim that it did not exist and that they're expedition many years ago was a failure. She would lie to protect the city from thieves and those who wish malevolence on the city.

I have other stories too if you wish to hear them Smile
